Kanti Fatania

Kanti Fatania has been in the optical profession for over 25 years. He started working in the hospital environment in his early career covering Surrey and Westminster hospitals where he was the first optician to represent diagnostic procedures in the profession. In this area he worked in collaboration with eye doctors and clinicians to establish a unique and unusual practice for ophthalmologists to refer patients to.

From there he progressed to establishing his own practice in the Harley Street area of London from which he was able to support eminent eye surgeons in the care and treatment of their patients, in addition to his continuing involvement in optical procedures within the inner city hospitals.

Kanti has continued to improve himself professionally in all areas of the optical world but has particularly developed his speciality area of working with speciality contact lenses and additionally the creation of prosthetic eyes. His technical abilities include his expert fitting experience that covers all available techniques to fit prosthetic eyes and scleral cover shells. Kanti also has extensive pediatric experience in fitting infants, children and adults. He has extensive experience in the fitting of all types of prosthetic eyes. His experience includes the fitting of every type of implant for enucleation, evisceration, and scleral cover shells.

Kanti is proud to present his new practice at 3 New Cavendish Street. The practice is medically minded in every aspect of the eye care service with routine pathological eye examinations with ophthalmic associates. With a variety of diagnostic procedures in our consulting rooms and an excellent retail space for bespoke clients it offers patients and customers a total eye care service. He understands how important and sensitive his role is in helping to restore the wellbeing of patients following the loss of an eye. He works closely with his patients forming a team approach to provide the best results for each and every one individually.
